Joining
our Team
We're
hiring!
This
is a ground floor opportunity to join our team at TT
Realty & Investment Group. Please take a few
moments to read about our company philosophy and why we
feel it's so important to work and act as a team.
Full
time vs. Part time
TT
Realty believes that succeeding in the real estate
business is all in your mind and heart. We don't
believe that you have to have 30 years experience or
that you have to work 80 hour weeks to do well. In
fact, we hire both full and part time agents. If
someone only wants to work part time, we respect that
but are still happy to have that person become part of
our team. People are different and have different
needs and wants. As long as you are determined to
succeed, we know you will whether it's working part or
full time. However, if someone wants to make a
career change, we're here to support him/her through the
change and help them become successful in the business.
How
do I join?
The
first step to joining the TT Realty team is getting your
real estate license if you don't already have it.
Read more below about the how long it takes, how much it
costs, and how TT Realty can reimburse your tuition and
book costs through our Joint Commitment program.
The
second step is to call Caroline Truong at 704-904-7804.
She will explain to you briefly about joining TT Realty.
She will help coordinate a meeting with you and the
Broker-in-Charge, Thomas Tran. He personally meets
with every potential team member to thoroughly explain
the company team structure.
No
real estate license? No problem. We can
help!
We
encourage anyone who has an interest in real estate to
go ahead and get their real estate license. In
fact, where other companies may not even recruit new
agents until they are licensed, we actually want to help
potential agents through the licensing process.
How
will TT Realty help me? It's a Joint Commitment!
TT
Realty offers a joint commitment program. You
enter into this program before you get licensed.
It's NOT a commitment to work for TT Realty. For a
$40 fee, TT Realty commits to you, as a potential agent,
to help you through the licensing process including
assisting with paperwork, mailing documents, notarizing
the application, etc. In exchange, you commit to
putting forth your best effort to succeed and pass the
state exam to get your real estate license.
The
best part about choosing TT Realty is that after you are
licensed ,and upon closing your first home, TT Realty
will pay you a commission as usual but also reimburse
your $40 commitment fee, class tuition, and textbook
cost. However, if you decide after you obtain your
license, that you don't want to work with TT Realty,
all you forfeit is your $40 fee. Because you're
not working with the company, we can't reimburse your
tuition and book fees. You will still receive the
assistance and guidance during the licensure process,
regardless of who you choose to affiliate with.
How
long will it take?
Transitioning
into a new field always involves more education and
training. Not everyone has four or five years to
stop working and go to college for a new degree.
Luckily, getting your real estate license is not quite
as time consuming and you don't have to quit your
current job!
Getting
your real estate license will involve some classes,
studying, and a couple of exams but believe it or not,
depending on what class schedule you choose, you can
complete the entire licensing process in less than two
months! You can actually take your real estate
classes on the weekend, study a few hours during the
work week, and get your real estate license.
How
much does it cost?
The
next most precious thing after time is money.
Getting your real estate license does not cost thousands
of dollars like a college education can. In fact,
to take the class, pass the state exam, and get a real
estate license can cost less than $500!
Of
course, there are other start up costs when you begin in
the business, but getting your real estate license is
the first and most important step of starting in the
real estate business. You only have to pass this
hurdle once and then it's just a matter of taking
continuing education courses and paying a renewal fee to
maintain your license.
